  • problem with dca

    Hi,

    i got a problem with a dca, they say i owe 96.09 for a phone bill, i have problems that i owe for a phone bill but they say i owe 96.09 but i got a bill from 02 for 76.09, when i rang them they said it was there admin charge are they aloud to put there admin charges on top of the bill. They didn't tell me or warn me when i rang them they just said they do it for everyone.

    also when i asked for a breakdown of the fees and charges that i owe such as bill admin charges they said they dont do things like that.

    I'm no expert on DCAs, but there are others here who I'm sure will give you assistance.

    Out of interest, who exactly is chasing?

    (Can't be many left - our Curlyben eats them for breakfast lol)

          Can you afford to pay the bill? If so, pay the 76.09 direct to O2. Remember that mobile phone bills aren't covered by CCA, I don't think. Also DCAs aren't allowed to add charges as far as I know. O2 are usually quite reasonable, it might be worth cntacting them directand sorting out a paym,ent arrangement.

            Thank you for all your help, i have contacted o2 and there fine with me paying them so a cheque Monday i think. When i contacted roxbroughe they said ho you cant do that because we have the account now so just nicely informed them we will just see shall we. also they said to ring them if i do pay o2. I think that is 1 to the consumer.
