Most of them have got 'A' levels in debt collecting:-

Consumer "Have you any legal authority to deal with this?"

The sections of that course and real meanings in red:-

* Industry Overview Know who to pass the debt onto quickly when challenged and how to return it to the original lender
* Best Practice, Standards and Regulators How to get away with threats and bullying tactics, various ways to threaten someone without leaving a bruise, where to buy your black jackets & boots, how to shave your head and look menacing, as well as what to do if you are threatened with going to the regulators (as they won't do anything anyway!)
* Collection Methods & Benchmarking How to write a threatening letter, put your foot in a doorway, climb through a window, use a telephone and threaten people, as well as telling all your fellow workers how to do it
* Commercial and International Debt Collection chasing people who are abroad and threatening owners of small business's who are already on the verge of a nervous breakdown
* Trace & Investigation How to look through a BT phonebook, how to ring random people till someone agrees to pay something, "how to write down stuff and look into it"

Now I deciphered it I wanna go on this course..... sounds fantastic........ lol

How much are they making to be able to send their staff on this course........

I think we need someone to do this course just to find out what they actually teach them.......
I bet the course wasn't vetted by the regulatory bodies....
They could be taught anything by the looks of it, who wrote the syllabus??
Who teaches the legislation, another debt collector or someone who understands it?

This should be managed by the MOJ or someone in authority.......
