    I have just received a text on my mobile phone "do not ignore this message.one of our representatives may visit you at your address call immediattely mercersdebt collections 0844 2412938.

    Have'nt a clue what it's about, have not received any letters from anyone...any advice please ??

      not so far. I have three months left to run on a barclay loan and sent off letters r.e ppi and this is the first I have heard back if this is them.

      nice of them to let me know.

              They might write to you, but as you don't have a problem with your Barclaycard there is nothing to worry about.

              Ditto the latter part of your sentence. Even if they did "send the boys round" there would be nothing they could do as they are not bailiffs, they are only debt collectors.
