  • Fredrickson International Ltd - Talk Talk

    Hi All,,

I wonder if someone can help me. Fredrickson Int Ltd contacted regarding an outstanding bill with Talk Talk, for which I did not acknowledge to them and sent them a prove it letter.

Thbey have now provided me with a copy of the final bill from Talk Talk. The only thing is I want to make the payments directly to Talk Talk and of course under my terms as I am facing financial difficulty.

Can someone please advise me on the best way to get the debt sent back to Talk talk as I do not want to deal with the DCA. Is there an account in dispute letter that I can send to the DCA?

I'm not tryiing to get out of paying, I just want to pay the OC direct....

All help will be truly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Tya

Are the DCA increasing the debt, or is there another reason that you want to deal direct with Talk Talk?

      Hi,

No the DCA is not increasing the debt. The only reason I want to deal with the OC is that I the OC's are ususally quite reasonable when accepting repayment arrangments. I believe that DCA's are abit more ruthless? Correct me if I'm wrong...

They cannot take what you do not have and you must set the terms and not be bullied by them. I have no idea what Fredrickson Int Ltd are like but I am sure somebody will know.

In the meantime, search the forums for "Fredrickson" to see what comes up.

Frederickson are the DCA whixh is very closely linked with Bryan Carter & Co Solicitors. They are ok to deal with on the whole. I have dealt with them by phone and letter in the past. Only thing to watch is that they are a bit quick off the mark passing it to Bryan and hence to court if you miss instalments, so make sureyou only offer them what you can defintiloey afford to pay.

Hi I thought I would help you out here, i have worked for freds in the past
freds has different departments in it which does things different finance and utilities.
when you recieve a letter from freds they do not add debt to it,
the way there call system works if you pay directly to freds client this example would be talk talk - tiscali/carphone warhouse then freds will keep contacting you unless you tell them you have paid to the client

Balvenie Boy: I would reply "only maybe" to that.

A (94yr old) widow in our village had a demand for £12.70 (Tiscali) dated Thurs 17th Dec. I became aware of this on Sat, 19th Dec, and paid it by debit card direct to freds by phone on Monday 21st Dec at 13:10hrs.

Yesterday (31st Dec) said 94 yr old widow receives a letter dated 22nd Dec, demanding payment of the £12.70 "on or before 22nd December."

SO their various departments may not tell each other what's going on, (and they think the post is instantaneous at Christmas peak too).
