I'm not sure who these are but I've just had a call from them on my landline.

I asked them who they are & what it's regarding & they said they couldn't say without security. I said I couldn't give security details to somebody Id never heard of & could they not call me & put everything in writing to me. The lady said 'we wrote to you yesterday, we'll call back tomorrow' & that was that.

I'm trying to think what this could be regarding & the only thing that comes to mind is the balance left on my alliance & leicestet account after the hardship charges were refunded.
Does anybody know who they act for?...& what's my best course of action?

P.s I've not been on here for a few weeks as have had poorly kids & then they got poorly again! I've got a virus myself at the moment which the eldest kindly gave me. So, please bear with me if I'm not my usual efficient self

Well wait and see if you do indeed get a letter, either way you AREN'T going to be talking to them on the phone anyway.
After all we don't discuss financial matters over that medium

I have received my 1st formal demand today....

They are acting as agents for Capital 1 (is this a new 1 that they are using?).

Just had my 3rd phonecall from these people despite me asking them not to ring. All I said this time was 'yes' to when they asked for me & 'can you put it in writing' when they said who they were.

The lady put the phone down with a disgruntled noise. Maybe they will get the message. LOL!

Just had a call from these lovelies.
I asked them what they were doing calling me when I have specifically said not to & asked them to put everything in writing & the woman said 'we take our instructions from our client, not from you. Have you got a proposal for us?'.
I replied, I propose you send this back to your client because the account is in dispute & don't call me again because I will have you done for harrassment. I have sent you a letter via recorded delivery explaining everything.
This was said without any security.
Its fun actually & not intimidating at all! thanks guys for wising me up!

Lucky you Shaz, crapquest do not stop ringing me including their 0800 No!s and a lot of different telephone No!s from 08.05 in the morning 2-3 a day, with the 0800 I guess it is one of them as the first call ever from them I spoke to an idiot who gave his Glasgow No., ignoring my Bemused letter by the looks of it.
