  • Lombard Tricity - Charging Order

    Dear Folks,

Just wondered if I can do anything at this stage. About two years ago Lombards took my partner to court because of missed payments or late payments. When he turned up in court no one from Lombards was there so the Chief Cleark or duty judge whoever he was dealt with it and made notes on him just paying £20.00 per month for now. After this another letter from the court came stating that Lombards had put a charging order on his property without him even knowing some kind of mix up happened but we was both unaware of what we could do about this. Anyway we/he has missed a few payments since of late and now they are chasing a debt amounting to about £3000.00. We tried to sdettle this abpout 1 year ago when we/he tried to re-mortgage and there settlement fee at that time was only about £1300.00. How comes they can just give out different figures. Also if they take him back to court for non payment can he go down the CCA route as I know their credit agreement is not properly executed which I found out too late after the court event and after reading web sites like this one.
Any comments would be greatly appreciate.

    Regards,

    Marshmallow
