I have strange stiuation with a credit account, they have been over charging me and when i complained they ignored me completely, I sent them the usual this account is now in dispute, therefore you cannot.... but they passed it on to a DCA which appears to be completely searate, but is actualy a subsiduary of the Original creditor.
MY question is; as the DCA is a separate legal entity, i.e. a limited Company with a different address from the OC. Does the OC breach the DPA if it passes on personal information when the account is in dispute, even if they claim the DCA is 'in house'
To my mind the DCA is a separate legal entity
Anybody care to comment?
