Credit Reference Agency SAR

I was looking at the ICO website last night & discovered that £2 doesn't just get you your credit report, it is the statutory fee for a full SAR from a credit reference agency!

If a subject access request is made to a credit reference agency, then the fee is £2, and the information must be provided within seven working days.

Is this right? Or is the does the Information Comissioner have the wrong information on his site? :eyebrows:

Smasher, give them a call on their helpline number and ask them the question. They are pretty good at responding to enquiries.

Ah well, after calling them & listening to Mozart playing on his Casio for 10 mins, I spoke to an agent who told me "its limited to fnancial information only". In other words just your credit report. You'd think the Information Comissioner's website would include this information wouldn't you?

You would but when I sent a SAR to natwest using their so called wording, and got back a letter asking about statements, I rang them. They told me "have you heard about bank charges reclaiming", lol.
Mozart is great though unless you are into something more modern, lol.
