    Hi FCC

Welcome to VIP and look forward to seeing you arround and in chat when you are ready.

Yes you certainly can reclaim, if you follow Tool's letter in Barclaycard Credit Card forum, refunds on Credit Cards are ever so simple, but obviously only if you have ever paid credit card charges in last 6 years.

I am not sure on the default aspect but perhaps someone else will advise you on that and maybe you will need to incorporate this in your letter.

Do I take it that the charges that were added to my Crap1 CC can be reclaimed by submitting Tools letter?. My failure to keep up payments started in 2000 when I was made redundant and I immediately contacted Crap1 and negotiated a payment plan. The contact " promised me faithfully " that they would stop adding interest and late payment charges but, of course, they continued to do so for the following six months. Are these the charges that I can reclaim?. I do have a letter from April 2001 that states that they will refund these charges when the account is ended and I, assume, that the account was closed when they defaulted me and sold me on to Link Financial??. All help gratefully received. regards

Oh well, I knew it would be too good to be true for someone like me. The charges were all applied 2000 - 2001. Ne' mind ay! at least I do have their promise to refund in writing so if the default and the sale of my account to Link terminates the account I can start a claim against them. regards
