I CCA'd Moorcroft on the 24/6/09... They replied on the 29th saying that they will forward the info once they get it from their client.
They also asked me to provide an indication of the information I will be relying upon when giving evidence during any possible court action or info to the relevant statutory authorities in relation to the alledged subject matter of this info & they asked for this by return post in order to minimize costs or delays...

They are also well over their 12 days now CB .... shall I instruct the dmc to withold payment at this time?....

1 more point here........ I sar'd Barclays on 25/7/09 ... as goldfish is now barclaycard goldfish.... I am waiting on that.........

It is of no business of theirs what you are going to do with the information.
Basically all they need to do is comply with your lawful request..

12 as per CCA and 2 to allow for first class postage.

After sending the default letter & witholding payment.... I have today received a reply from Moorcrofts "Pre Court Division" (is that real or is it meant to intimidate me?)

They say that my account is currently on hold pending a response from their client to my recent query raised (cca request). They also say that they will contact me once gfish have replied to them... (I have a letter dated 29/6 saying they'd asked their client for the info also)

On cb's thread about consumer credit agreements, it says that now is the time to file a report with ts via consumer direct..... is that the case with this?...

Moorcroft have TWO desk's

~Pre-Litigation Division
and
~Pre-Court Division

Both are a meaningless as the other.
Yes the BIG RED letters are meant to scare you into paying

There is another one you'll see occasionally:

~Pre-Home Visit Division I guess that's the broom cupboard

I have just rang consumer direct & they said that they couldnt advise me on it. They went on to advise that I drop in to my local trading standards office with all of the information that I have & go from there.........

Some times you can get an operator that actually knows their bottom from a hole in the ground

Yes, I noticed on the trading standards site that cd are the contact number for them....

Contact CD (http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk/contact) tell them you are being messed around, harrased and not given the details you have asked for. They can chase them up for you.

Im going to take my 'file' to the local trading standards office this week. If anybody has any tips or advice regarding them.... please let me know!

My advice is phone them first and ask to book an appointment, if you don't they may keep you hanging about for ages.
