  • Sainsburys bank

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have sent a cca to Sainsburys bank visa for a debt wich has now been placed at Blair, Oliver and Scott Limited. After months of despair my husband has found a new job, trying to play the catch up game is harder than expected with the unreasonable demands of most of the lenders. I sent my first cca to Sainsburys and have received a photocopied card request form from 2000 which is not legible. and a seperate photocopied terms and agreement dated 1/10/2008 with a letter which states: Please note the information we have provided you with is all the information we are required to provide you with under Section 78 of the Consumer Credit Act. Please also note that we are not required to provide a copy of the original signed agreement under Section 78 of the Consumer Credit Act.

How should I respond to this letter and is the agreement enforceable?

    Many thanks

    Hi joelle,
Maybe if you could scan the agreement onto here someone would take a look at it for you.

      Hi Joel

      Welcome to Legal Beagles.

Did you have any charges on this account or indeed any other account either Credit Card or Bank Charges.

It could be that you may come under financial hardship in respect of any bank charges you may have suffered whilst your husband was unemployed under the FSA waiver rules.

Are you behind with your rent/mortgage, have you buildt up various debts with utilities etc?

Please complete an Income and Expenditure shedule http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...ead.php?t=5102 please post up omitting any personal details so that we can see how best to help.

For credit cards this is a simple process and you would need to follow the guides in the Credit Card section.
