        Sorry but this just wound me up, I don't suppose it actually says the banks will help if you have financial difficulties, It just says you should be honest with them so they can figure out the best way to get their hands on your money.

        If you are in debt and struggling to meet your payments, there is a spreadsheet in the library that helps you define and allocate your income, don't go to the bank, go to CAB or CCCS and let them deal with your creditors, the banks will only be interested in what they can get.

        Thanks for posting Dave, could be useful for proving they don't actually follow their own advise!!!

          Hiya just to say i used pay plan they are free, but were so understanding and extremely fair. They do get a bit wobbly if you mention bank charges claiming, so i would keep that a separate issue.

          They handle debits of £13000 up wards and advise you forward if you have debits lower.

          my bank stopped interest and accepted lower payment since i provided a case number that Pay plan gave me. It took one phone call to get set up.
