  • Current account help.

Hi, I am about to write to some creditors (Sainsburys for credit card and personal loan, American Express and John Lewis), advising that my cirumstances have drastically changed with an offer of reduced payments.
I need to know if there is any connection between Sainsburys and Lloyds? I have had a current account with Lloyds for over 20 years and need to know if Sainsburys can access my account there. There is no credit there but can they touch my overdraft?
My husband and me have opened another account with Natwest that we can start using but I am trying to avoid any hassle with Lloyds as if things go totally pear shaped then they are by far my largest creditor.

    Hi Florida

Sainsbury's Bank - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

heres a link to Sainsburys on Wiki, tells you more about the LLoyds connection although I believe they would still be separate entities regarding your Overdraft at Lloyds, someone else can probably advise better about this though.
