  • Debt Notification received from Westcott

Just received a debt notification from the Westcott group instructed by the lovely RBS regarding a credit card account that is in serious legal dispute.

I ca the natwest in 2007 for the credit agreement, they produced a illegible application form, (also to note that they have overwritten some of the information so it can be read) I have pointed out the error of their ways and asked for a legible copy that can actually be read.

They refused and stated that they would wait to hear from the enforcement authorities, reported them to the OFT (waste of time) and also contacted my local trading standards for their input. They agreed and would act on my behalf.

Now being the nice person that I am I had continued to make payments to the Natwest until last year and as a final protest to get things sorted out I stopped all payments. There have been a few letters to and fro between us and as usual their normal practice of differing employees in differing departments getting involved and getting nowhere fast.

They have now retaliated by going down the enforcement route and have instructed Westcot to pursue me whilst the account is in legal dispute

    Any advise grately appreciated

Westcot are pussy cats. Write to them and inform them the debt is in dispute and they will back off.

Hells, I cannot imagine what torture you are going to inflict on Westcott but please don't be gentle with them
