  • First letter from Lowell

    Hi.

    Thank you for any help.

Just recieved a first letter from lovell about an argos card I couldn't pay anymore with the cost of living being the way it's gone. They have just taken over the debt.

I'm a nurse and literally am struggling each month to get by.

I wanted to ask if its worth sending off a CCA request at this stage ?

Have you stopped all payments and when was the card opened?

      A little backstory might help.

I assume it has been defaulted and your credit rating trashed.

        Hi Matty.

Had the card just over 3 years. Stopped paying last year due to financial circumstances. I got letters from argos for a while and they sent the debt to a collection agency based in Scotland (can't remember the name). Then this week I got my first letter from "blowels" saying they had taken over the debt. Yes I have a default on my credit file.

Thank you in advance for any advice. Does any agency need a copy of the credit agreement to pursue a ccj ?
