Ruthbridge demand for payment (Cabot)

I received the attached letter. I wrote them to say it is STATUTE-BARRED. They now sent the second letter to acknowledge and assured me, they wouldn't contact me again. If your debit is more than six years old, You don't have to pay debit collectors. It is the law (the Limitation Act)

Cabot Reference accounts- These accounts are statute-barred:22/06/22. Cabot reply- Thanks for getting in touch with us, I’ve had a look at your accounts and I can confirm that they are both statute barred as prescribed by the Limitation Act 1980. Therefore, I have closed your accounts and you’ll no longer receive any communication from us about it.24/06/22
