Statute barred debt?

Hello and thanks for taking the time to read my post.
I have recieved these letters today and I assume they are chasing a statute barred debt or have the wrong person. I have checked my credit file and there is no account on my file at all with the amount claimed that I owe. What steps, if any, should I take now?

Have you ever had an account with Capital One?

It might be statute barred, but you need dates to be certain of that.

There are a couple of steps you can take, if you have proof it's statute barred, you can send a template to that effect.
If you think it's not your debt, again a template to that effect.
