  • CCJ - Updates to credit files

I have a few CCJ on my record follwing a redundancy and period of unemployment, they have all been paid and marked as settled appart from one. I have called the court and sent them a copy of the letter of satisfaction from the debtor but they are saying they will not contact Registry Trust until I pay a further £15 , and to do this I have to send or visit the court it cant be done over the phone.

Im curious to know how all my other CCJ have been marked as settled, most of them will disappear this year as they were all registered in 2003, but this one was only done in 2006 and paid off late 2007 so want to get my record looking better until it dissapears from my file.

Do I need to stump up this additional amount even though I never did for any of the others ?

Yes I'm afraid you do. You were lucky with the others the creditors must have updated for you.
