  • CCA Requests

    Hi guys

Just a quick one, I sent off for a copy of a credit agreement as per the CCA request, and today I have received, well something!

    I quote...

You requested copies of the executed credit agreement and statement of your account under section 78 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.

Please find enclosed a copy of your credit agreement as requested. In accordance with section 78 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and the Consumer Credit (Cancellation Notices and Copy Documents) Regulations 1983, this is your original agreement, and if any terms have be varied, then the copy agreement will include the updated terms. In addition, your personal details, the signature box and date of signature have been omitted from the copy provided as permitted under Redgulation 3 of the consumer Credit (cancellation notices and copy documents) regualtions 1983.

So basically it's just a piece of paper with all the dos and don't on it, yes the apr is there, but this could apply to anyone, no signature, dates or anything, is this a proper response to a CCA request?

    Re: CCA Requests

In short 'NO' it is not a copy of your credit agreement, just a copy of an agreement. Contact them and tell them you want a photo copy of the one you signed.

    Good luck
    Hod..Liam.
Borrow money from a pessimist -- they don't expect it back.
