  • DrydensFairfax chasing debt

Hi there, I am hoping for some advice please re a very old S@nt@nder debt dating back to 2007. The debt has not been statue barred. We fell into hardship approx 2010 and have been making a nominal payment monthly since then. Due to the concerns surrounding Covid in 2020, I forgot to make payments for the first time in ten years, long story short M00cr0ft became involved. We sent a Prove it letter and they supplied what we believe was the correct documentation and we made an offer of a full &final settlement of 20% directly to S@nt@nder and asked Moorcroft to stop contacting us which they did. The offer was rejected with no counteroffer and a request to continue making nominal payments which we have done. They appear to have now instructed Drydensfairfax who are requesting the full amount . I guess my question is, do I send Drydens a Prove it letter as I have not received a Notice of Assignment , or do I engage in conversation and tell them I am making nominal payments directly to S@nt@nder and have made them an offer which they have rejected or do I ignore them completely. I have so far ignored thee letters but another arrived today.

Thankyou in advance for any advice you can give.
