Hello,
First time poster here, bit of an odd occurrence it seems looking online, I have a debt that was sold on and prior to that it had never been defaulted either with a notice or on CRA files.
The debt was in an AP of around £5 a month with the original lender before being sold for about 2 years.
I have a SAR from the original lender, nothing there at all. When sold it removed from my CRA files.
I sent a CCA to the agency used by the new owner who acknowledged, since then I've had nothing.
Now I've been sent a notice of default for a months time from the owner.
I will now be defaulting 4 years after the account got into trouble seems a bit unfair.
