    Thank you all.
Would I have to send statute barred letter prior to asking for a copy of the default notice? Can I ask for the credit agreement and what other information do I need from them? Sorry I am completely clueless what the procedure is. How likely are they (Ruthbridge on behalf of Cabot) to ignore my letters or provide insufficient or incorrect information or delay sending it?

I've received a very similar letter from Ruthbridge a debt that became Statute Barred in September. Does look like it can just be ignored, but interested if sending the Statute Barred Letter is worth doing or can potentially make issues worse?

I would suggest starting your own thread rather than hijacking a currently active thread. It can get confusing.
