  • Overpaid debt, want money back

    Hey all,

basically I’ve finally finished paying off one of my debts with Lowell solicitors however I missed a direct debit back last June/July (refer to image), however it looks like in the process they have added on the £50 to my balance rather than 0’ing this out.

*I did contact them bout this a few months ago and they said they balance is what they pre-empt your payment to take off so it was ‘reversed’ back to 479, but after doing the maths they definitely added on my missed payment to the overall balance.

Does anyone have any advice on the correct way to contact them about reclaiming my extra £50 back to them at all? I don’t want to contact the, again and for the, to say ‘nah it’s what you were meant to pay’ qhen the math clearly works out.

    thanks in advance guys,
    TL
