  • Link financial now chasing debt

    Hi all

Help needed on how to deal with link financial.
its quite long so here goes.
Around March this year I started getting letters from link asking me to contact them, I already have dealings with them over a Barclays credit card which I was paying so assumed it was them trying to up the payments. Then in may I received 1 from them claiming money was owed to Lloyd’s bank. I know I never had anything from Lloyd’s so I sent a letter saying I had no knowledge and needed proof. They acknowledged the letter then in June sent an agreement signed by me on 30.10.08 for a Halifax loan and a letter explaining it had been taken over by Lloyd’s. The Halifax loan I did know about, I’d fallen into difficulty with and it was passed to blair oliver and Scott who I’d been paying since approximately 2011up until February last year. In the same pack as the agreement was another letter from link dated 12.07.17 saying they had been assigned the account by Lloyd’s but as I was paying blair oliver and scott nothing would change. This letter is never seen and it had my previous address which I moved from in 2013. I’ve had no contact from blair oliver even when I stopped paying last year. I would like to try and get all this sort so help would be appreciated
