Hi, a while ago I took out a payday loan with SameDay Cash.co.uk. Unfortunately, I was not able to keep up with the last loan I took out with them. The matter was passed on to a Company called ChequeSpread which apparently SameDay Cash call them their trading style partner whatever that means. I agreed a payment plan for the amount of £584.26 at a rate of £100.00 per month and last payment of £84.26 in January. The first two payments were taken out with no problems via post dated cheques. However, I received a letter from SameDay Cash on the 2nd of September (one day before the second cheque was dated - very strange!), saying that I have not fully repaid the loan that I took out with SameDay Cash. They now say my balance is £520.06 which is not correct as my balance should now be £384..26 ie. £584.26 - £200.00. They now say that my account is no longer being managed by Chequespread and I should not make any payments or have any contact with them from this point on ie. 2nd September onwards. They have now passed my account on to Credit Resource Solutions to handle the account. SameDay Cash say I should telephone them which I won't do and have contacted Credit Resource Solutions via email which was ignoredto say I am disputing the amount and have also contacted SameDay Cash via email which was also ignored, to say the same.
I contacted Chequespread to ask for the remainder of the cheques to be sent back and also receipts for payments which they did.
What do I do now? I am afraid that if I send postdated cheques to Credit Resource Solutions that the same thing will happen. It looks like I will be in permanent debt as the amount is continuing to escalate. Please help as I am getting really stressed about this.
Thank you, Cathy
