  • Best Options switching C/card

To reduce the charges and interests on my C/card, would it be beneficial to switch to an interest free c/card for up to 2 years?

Is there much admin to switching, or would you be better negotiating with your existing supplier?

    Thank you very much

It's good to switch if you can. Interest free means every penny you pay goes towards paying the debt. However, if you do switch, please cut your old card into pieces so there is no temptation to use it, otherwise you can easily end up with double the debt, rather than much less debt.

you have to evaluate the reduced charges and interst against the amount they charge for transferring your old balance---ie 3.5% to 4.5% of the balance transferred---

The first step should be negotiating with your existing supplier because sometimes you get better solutions while you work in this way.
