Re: Closure of Credit Card Account
Hi Debt Star,
Finally had a root around and Barclaycard are remarkably coy about who actually runs the shambles. Even Churchill Place is very reluctant to give out any specific information and in the end after much pressing I was referred to the corporate website (the .com version) and you get the following:-
1. Chief Executive Officer Valerie Soranno Keating
2. Chief Executive Officer David Chan Barclaycard Consumer Europe
3. Chief Financial Officer Phillip McHugh
4. Chief Operating Officer Marge Connolly.
I wouldn't believe a word of it in reality. I think the truth would lie closer to those dancing around a steaming cauldron in Churchill Place. A bit like the opening of one act of "Macbeth". I would suggest that the real villains are Diamond and in particular Jenkins.
From our own experience direct there is one particular slimy piece of work named Peter Ross in the B/C "Directors Office" who seem to front all the customer problems. His stupidity and nastiness was the final straw before we went to sols, and he had been given every opportunity to come to the negotiating table with an offer of serious compensation and damages for what they had done and attempted to do to me and the policies they operated, which he declined of course. Now after sols involvement they get NOTHING.
Hope that helps
regards
