  • Barclaycards V Flangies

    Hello Folks

Last year I successfuly claimed credit card charges with Cap one with thanks to everyone on here especially Wendy, Amesthist and Budgie

I now want to claim very old charges with Barclaycard I am talking around 9 years and beyond, I feel I have nothing to lose in asking for all info they have on me. I know for a fact I was charged on many occasions for late payments etc,a nd only vaguely remember if the account went to another debt company.

Is it worth me sending the SAR to them and paying £10 for this??
    Any advice is appreciated

Have a read of this, might be worth a try in the first instance. Wends-v-Barclaycard - Legal Beagles Consumer Forum

The original idea was from Tools, think his thread is called something like Barclaycard, Success in 23 days, or similar.

      Thanks Wendy

You can still claim for charges applied even if I havent had the barclaycard for many years? But know I have many charges

        Nothing ventured.......

When I did Cap One, my account had been closed for ages. So had my OH's. As had my Citicard. I got all of those back.

Don't know if you'll get anything prior to 6 years, but worth a punt anyway.

ok nothing ventured I agree. I am thinking that it was before 6 years that the my account closed, is it still worth it?

            also I read this
credit card companies are unable to refund any, default sums charge Cl prior to six years of making a complaint because under the Limitation Act 1980 as we are out of time to make any claim in relation to these fees.

            Thoughts please much appreciated :tung:
