        Hi Middenmess

Lol! Sure is a big difference between what I got and your example. So should i just wait and see what they send me next - the "notice of assignment" which I think was the 1st EC "hello you now us the money" letter from my 1st post?

Hi Mike770, no MBNA branding on either of the EC envelopes. I still haven't received anything else form either - very quiet.

Should I be proactive here and write to EC asking for DoA and to MBNA accepting...??

            Advice welcomed

If I were you I would sit tight and let them make the next move. They might not.

Hi QCKate and thanks for your comment. Why is it better for me to wait for their next move? I've read on other posts that unlawful recsission / repudiation should be accepted as soon as you are aware of it. Help, I'm getting confused.

                    Beep Beep,

I think its worth a cheeky "thank you for your Repudiation" letter, just to cover your bases.

But as i have said elsewhere - its much debated (and perhaps maligned) that this pertains to contracts under the requirements of the CCA - i personally think it does, others dont.

AND you would probably end up in court to prove it.

But it certainly gives you another argument to add to your case if you do.

Hi all, well I have still not had anymore contact (yet) but I have checked my credit file and the default was registered on 30/7/10 and my account is now owned by VIL/EXPERTO CREDITE LTD !!! So a default was registered on my credit file before I even received the DN.

                      Comments and advice welcomed.

                          Hi

Is there any update on this case?

I too have had a very similar experience with MBNA/Varde/EC but I have now been sent court papers from Varde!!

Any news on how these cases transpired would be really helpful to me.

                          Many thanks
