    Haven't had this one before!!

    From Robinson Way, all in block capitals and bordered all the way round with 'Security Telemessage'....


    Recent actions on your account are giving cause for concern
    Please contact us immediately on 0845 etc
    Please do not delay...quote the ref number above when calling us.

    Reminds me of 'good cop,bad cop' as their letters alternate between veiled threats of being hauled off to Newgate jail and cast into a dungeon for eternity after being par boiled in oil and the weaseley 'please,please phone us'

    Perhaps in the next letter they might threaten to have me transported to a penal colony!!

    Yes well the OFT Guidelines say that DCAs are not allowed to use premium rate telephone numbers. Is 0845 premium or local rate? I can't recall.

    Penal colonies will make a come back soon enough, as will Debtors Prisons and hangings. Certainly if the judiciary get their way.
