I am formulating a mass complaint about Chester Trading Standards and their total refusal and apparent inability to do anything about the mass of complaints they must receive regarding MBNA.

Yes, this is on 2 other sites - but there are times when I feel we must join together in order to get some people power behind our complaint.

If you have had any dealings with EITHER Chester Trading Standards OR your local TS regarding MBNA - and PARTICULARLY if you have any correspondence, could you please either post on this thread or PM me??

How very interesting. I have indeed, only today, phone the Cheshire Trading Standards team about MBNA. They referred me to the FSA as they said they could not help with anything relating to consumer finance. I told them that my enquiry related to a document publised by the OFT and that I thought they were part of the OFT but they repeated their assertion that they were unable to help. I phone my local Trading Standards team who offered to have a case officer call me with 5 days..... whether they will or not is another question but none the less it was a much more helpful response.

Ive recentley been in touch with my local trading standards reagrding MBNA and theyve passed the complaint to the Chester Office. Cant figure out how to PM you Boxerdog - what info do you need from me?

Have you considered going to to the financial onbudsman, They listen and have powers... based in Essex

They are dealing with a complaint I had against MBNA it was the rudeness and agression of the chester call centre that upset me they are called customer care what a joke as they only care about getting as much bank charges on you as possible and nothing about you.
