    how far back with regards to crecit card charges can you go back and does the card still have to be active??

    Without having to argue the statute of limitations you can go back 6 years. However, it doesn't hurt to try for as long as you want.

    The card does not have to be active.

    Do you have any more info i.e which lender and how long have you had the card?

        well i got into lots of trouble with lots of cards and re-mortgaged to pay them all off but it must be about 5 or 6 years ago now is all

          ok you can claim back all the default charger from all of these credit cards. Pre 2003 is not a problem provided you have or can get copies of statements to identify the charges to be reclaimed. We can assist with the whole process. Have a read of the reclaim guide for credit card charges and start a thread for each card when you are ready to get started.
