  • Cap One and DCA reclaim query

I had an account with Cap One which was sold to a debt collection agency. Many months ago I managed to negotiate a settlement figure with the debt collection agency and cleared it. Since then I have been trying to claim back my charges from Cap One, this is now with the FOS. My question is if I am successful will Cap One send the money back to me or the Debt collection agency?

Hmm interesting one there and to be honest I don't know.
I would of thought you would be entitled to the complete charges as your "debt" with the DCA is settled.

Can I ask why you decided on the FOS route with this one, as Cap1 are quite straightforward to deal with ?
Ok you have to file at court, but they soon pay up after that.
