  • CashPlus Credit Cars

Not sure if anyone can help.

I have a CashPlus credit card since 2016.

I make my minimum payment via standing order each month.

On my last stamens I noticed my minimum payment was slightly higher which was unusual as I never use the card. After investigating it turns out the payment was sent but rejected by CashPlus (confirmed by my bank). The response from my bank was that the message received was received was “system not logged on”.

I made a complaint to them and requested the late payment fee was refunded as it was their error and that they made sure this was reflected in my credit report and not shown as a late payment. My bank issued me with a letter to send to CashPlus confirming this was their error too.

They responded today and basically said they have no errors recorded on their side and would not be refunding the late fee. They didn’t confirm whether they would or would report it as late.

Can anyone advise as to what my options are here?
