I hope so! Just bought another car, and insured 17 year old son on it, so could do with a few quid in the bank!

Tempty, I'm sure you'll get your money soon mate, as soon as you get a date you can start negotiating with nutwest, they might move a bit quicker then and settle before Court.

Just been OTR, thre's a case where Crap One actually turned up in court, had already paid charges and 8% but claimant going for CI as well. Basically she didn't get it......so I think if they offer me anything reasonable I'm just gonna take it. As long as I get the charges and my court fee I'll be happy. Don't want to push it.

yea the CI is a bit on the dodgy side ,so if you get the fees and 8% and court fees take it .i am going to with monument, just gives them a bit of a fright when they se the CI i think! its worth a go though u never know!

              Re: WendyB - v - Capital One

Well, just spoke to Crap One, got put through to Nathan in the special support department (thats a contradiction in terms for a start off-when were they ever supportive of anyone???). Moaned about the fact I'd just checked my credit report which was showing the wrong amount owing and hadn't been updated, when I'd been told it would be updated at the end of August. He says the balance they've got (the correct one) is right and it must be the credit agency not doing its job properly. Yeah right!! says it will only show as fully settled when the balance is nil and asked if I'd like to pay the remaining 28.84 now. Er, not! Hadn't got the heart to tell him they're gona be paying out themselves lol. Just said I'd pay it eventually. asked him if there are any more notes on my file he'd like to share with me - apparently not, so it doesn't look like the N1 has found its way into the system yet. But I'm sure it won't be long before it does, so just gonna sit back and wait for their offer, which I'll than probably accept before you can say "gimme a pen".

Couldn't wait, just had to nip home to see if papers from Court had arrived. They haven't. I think they've forgotten me...might give the court a ring later just in case....

                  Re: WendyB - v - Capital One

Mystery solved! Just spoke to a lovely helpful chap at Court who said they'd issued the claim but had a query on the address to serve it to, cos I'd put the PO Box address. Had not put this originally but was told to change it to this one by the girl behind the counter! So they needed correct address to serve to. Have emailed him the info so he's gonna change it and serve it tomorrow.

I hope so If I get this it will be the first money for ages that I won't have to earmark for bills and stuff - sort of spare money (never been known in our house lol). So might be able to spend it on something nice for once, instead of paying debts lol. And Christmas is coming

Tell me about it! Its even more depressing when you've got a pony that you have to go and see every day, wind rain or shine! Normally we only get wet and frozen in the winter - this year its been all blinking year But weather has been great this week, not a drop of rain since Sunday.

I only mentioned Crimbo cos its exactly 13 weeks after my daughters birhtday (which is on 25th Sept) So that makes it 15 weeks and 3 days away
