  • Quick question Egg PPI

I have had an egg card for ages and it is on line only and paid by DD

I need to check when I signed for PPI as I did not even realise I had it untill the balance crept up - and I noticed the amount.

I am surpriised I took it out as I have separate income support policies for sickness and unemployment. It may well be I did not have those at the time so I just need to check whether I did agree to it.

There are no late charges or anything like that so do I need CCA or SAR?

    Re: Quick question Egg PPI

I am assuming that the application was done online too. I would first telephone them and ask what date the PPI started and then check to see if it was the same date of your application. Obviously if the PPI start date is after your application you would surely remember doing this as a seperate policy and not just bundled into the original. If you are still then unsure, send the SAR specificaly requesting details of the PPI on top of the usual requests. For the extra £9 you would then have details of everything including the original application processing.
Any opinions I give are my own. Any advice I give is without liability. If you are unsure, please seek qualified legal advice.
