Do Equifax keep late payment markers on credit reports longer than Experian? Experian seem to keep them on for 36 months and then they drop off. I have noticed that Equifax have some of mine still on show from March 2007.

I read something somewhere the other day that said Experian were going to start showing payment history for the full 6 years soon?

I can't find where I read that though, or comment on whether that may be true?

I saw it on CAG. In these days of 1 late payment = refusal of credit, this change will affect millions more consumers. Frankly I find it a disgusting abuse of our data.
