  • equifax report queries?

hi ive not long received my credit report .
it still has showing on it companies that possess no CCa for accounts and also ive got linked names on my account from more than 6 yrs ago.. neither have lived here for at least 11 yrs...why are they still on there?
also i was doing a bank charge reclaim on natwest, and i found out on my report they defaulted me!!! cheeky! this claim has now been settled and they shut my account down ... how can i get this default off my report?
i have sent a letter to equifax pointng out all the issues as well as not knowiing who a couple of the accounts belong to cos i dont remember the names of the companies.
what are my rights on this matter?
i have wrote to the companies not possessing CCAs and asked for the info on my report to be deleted months ago, which is why i got a report to check
    anyone?

    Re: equifax report queries?

just a quick update, equifax have heard back of some of the companies, they said they would be writing diorectly to me so equifax have taken the query off the report.only prob is their idea of writing is apparrently demanding money! and one of the others wrote to equifax saying they didnt need a CCA to permit them to transmit data and this was in line with the information commisioner, so just waiting to hear what the IC actually says.
