    Hello

You will struggle to bring a clam against a CRA and it has been tried and tested in the Court of Appeal case Smeaton v Equifax 2013.

CRAs take their information directly from the traders you have contracted with so they are not generally liable for any losses that you might have suffered. Any claim you may have should be directed to the traders in question although I suppose it may be possible in the very strict and limited circumstances, that you could claim against a CRA where the trader has notified the CRA to update your records but the CRA for some reason or another has chosen not to make the updates as requested. In that case the CRA could be held liable for their actions but you would need to provide some kind of evidence that the issue was lay with the CRA and not the trader.
If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you
