With the new GDPR Law is it possible to obtain personal info from the CRAs under this law free of charge?

Yes you can, but I wonder what personal information you are talking about. Are you asking if it is possible to obtain a copy of your credit report free of charge or is it something else?
I don't believe CRA's are exempt from SARs under the GDPR so I would imagine that yes you could seek a copy of your credit report as well as other information they might hold about you. If it is your credit report you are looking for, Noddle (run by CallCredit) and Experian (via Money Saving's Credit Club) offer a free credit report but I'm not entirely sure about Equifax. So if it is something other than a credit report they hold about you such as marketing preferences or something else, then I couldn't see any real reason to make a SAR.
