  • Default notices and the upcoming Royal Mail strikes

Its worth bearing in mind that there are strikes on the horizon with the Royal Mail.

As a consequence deliveries will be disrupted. Many bank computers process Default notices automatically, and the system populates the date for the notice and the date for remedy the breach.
Now then, its unlikely that they will take account of the strikes, so its important to keep note when you get a Default notice, especially over the next few weeks as the banks may well fail to give the statutory time frame to consumers to remedy the breach due to delay in delivery.
