    Received the following on Saturday:

    "Dear Sir

    We are writing to confirm that we are no longer instructed to deal with this matter therefore our files have now been closed.

    Any future queries relating to this account should be directed to Marks & Spencer Financial Services Plc on xxxx.


    Yours sincerely


    Collections Manager"


    They already gave up in March, only to reappear. I doubt they will return again.

    Let's see what M&S does next. :marchmellow::marchmellow::marchmellow:

      I wasn't around when this was posted but have been following your other threads with interest. As this is clearly unenforceable being a storecard turned credit card without a new agreement (as per Santander v Mayhew), it should be interesting to see if they just keep passing it on, sell it, or just forget about it as my creditors seem to have done.

      I have a couple of UE credit cards, one of them was passed around a few DCAs but never sold and I've not heard a peep since Jan 2012, the other wasn't even passed to any DCA outside of MBNA and it's been nearly 3 years since they last chased me. So far, not been sold either. With a bit of luck, there may well be a loooong, quiet period here too.
