    Go on, admit it; you think that bankers & their ilk haven't got a sense of humour, don't you?

    This proposal via the BBA is a joke, though!

    They propose to do away with Default Notices, s78 requests, UE before 2007, variation/modification requirements, s75 refunds & lots more.

    May as well tear up the Consumer Credit Act & consumer protection, & leave it to the lenders to determine what is fair & just.

    What could possibly go wrong?

    They'll probably just send the lads around to see you for a little chat instead!

    Looks like they want their cake, and eat it. Then pinch everyone else's cake, ban cakes for other people, and ban cake making. Then make it illegal to even mention cake without their permission.
