  • Consumer Credit Act - Exempt Agreement

Hello, a quick query regarding exempt agreements under Consumer Credit Act. If you are offering a credit product that is exempt from Consumer Credit Act, does this mean that you no longer have to comply with the process of having to show a pre-contract information and having to present the final contract in compliance with SECCI? (therefore, in theory, if my credit product is exempt from Consumer Credit Act, the contract can be a lighter version, compared to the regulated credit agreements?) Thanks very much

It would help if you could provide a bit more information regarding the credit product you are referring to. As it stands, the question is very generic and could refer to anything, which is probably the reason you haven't had any replies.
