  • MBNA "Default Notice Issue"

    Morning everyone,

Want to have some fun with MBNA they issued me a really dodgy default notice. Telling me to pay my full balance not the arrears. They did not give me a remedy time etc, would this mean they ended the agreement by not adhering to the agreement themselves? They have sold it to Arrow who have brought on board Arc. Any templates I can send, did cca request to Arc who then sent it to Arrow who then sent it to MBNA. Got a copy of my agreement with new T&C's. My card was taken out in 2004 with PPI. Cheers guys ;O)

Can you please provide a timeline of events about the account so we can see the picture?

Do you have all the paperwork, otherwise best to send SAR to MBNA before making decisions on how to play this?

I had a similar situation with an MBNA DN some years ago.

When the account was passed to a DCA I suggested to them that the DN from MBNA was faulty (without telling them why) and asked for a copy of it.

Surprise, surprise the 'new' DN was now compliant, but still with the original date of issue on it !!

Fraud maybe, or at least an attempt at deception?

I showed the original DN to the DCA suggesting that this might cast doubt on anything MBNA produce as documentation and have heard nothing more from them in 2 years.
They were out to get me!! But now it's too late!!
