  • Storecard turned credit card and double DN

A friend of mine has one of them storecards that morphed into credit cards, similar to the one in this case (Santander vs Mayhew) ---> http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...-to-be-let-off

Last payment was in May/June. 2 CCA requests were sent: one in December 2011 and one last summer. In both cases, the reply was an application form for the original M&S storecard dating back to 1998 and nothing further even though an all purpose credit card was issued c. 2003.

M&S Money sent a DN in August. Now they have sent a second DN dated Dec 20th, received Dec 28th. The DN gives 21 days to rectify. I find it rather strange that there should be 2 DNs for the same account and I'm wondering whether there's any significance.

On the face of what you say a default notice makes little difference to your account so 2 or 1002 won't make a difference either.

The account appears to be unenforceable in the same way as Mayhew.

Thanks M1, I suspected that may be the case, just found it strange that they should have issued a second DN!
