Well, if the orders totalled £149 (and assuming that is the cash price, and does not include interst, charges or whathaveyou), and you have paid them £95, simply adapt the above letter and tell them you are prepared to pay them £54 in Full and Final settlement of the debt. And that if they do not accept that they have no entitlement to the rest, then they will need to chase it in court, where you will be vigorously defending any action that they may contemplate.

I think they will bite your hand off.

Reliable considering court action, is this before or after they get a grip on reality.

They are bully boys, plain and simple.
They'll give up and pass you onto a "real" DCA.
Capquest is my bet on that one.
