I have an old debt (2008) with Partnership card. A few months ago they could not produce the CCA and just sent a list of payments I had made. They said since I was paying a token amount monthly I had acknowledged the debt and had to continue. I stopped payments and have now had a letter saying debt is transferred to HSBC (who was always the owner in the small print). A few days later another letter saying they have tried to get in touch with me (they haven't) to discuss a way forward. Only a phone number. Do I need to send another CCA request or assume as only the account name has changed and not the account number and sort code that they already know this? They have not used the term enforceable or unenforceable.
    Advice please.

My understanding is no CCA. Debt is unenforceable, until or if they trace the original.Sit back and await the next action.
