      1st class stamps are a complete waste of money over Christmas. Regardless of what the Post Office tool says above, Ist class is no better than 2nd as the 93% promise of arriving the next day - which defines a 1st class stamp from 2nd class - is withdrawn from 6 December to 1 January.
