  • Natwest - again

Well just when you thought it was safe.....up pop Snatchwest again.

At the end of Feb, I never noticed that the interest charged on the account we rarely use had taken us over our overdraft limit by £4.05. By the time I did notice, it was too late to do anything about it so I resigned myself to the fact that they would not doubt slap on a 28 quid charge. A couple of weeks later, I paid some money in so was back under the limit again, and allowed for the fact that the charge would be coming off, paid in enough to cover this and stay under my limit. or so i thought. at the end of the next month, on go the interest and the charge. Taking me over my limit by the princely sum of 35p. For which they have now charged me yet another 28 quid. Which has taken me over the limit again. And so the cycle starts again.

Tried the nice approach, but was told that they do not have the discretion to refund any charges at all at the moment, blah blah blah.

I can feel a Prelim coming on.

Or should I just wait and see what 22nd May brings? I must confess I'm not too sure which way to play this one, i thought all my bank charge reclaiming days were over.
